Sandpoint Fire Department, is a combination department containing both volunteers and paid staff. Currently Sandpoint has nine full time career members plus a full time fire chief. Sandpoint also has ten volunteers and six cadets assisting the community

Shift Schedule: Sandpoint works the modified Detroit schedule and personnel work 24 hr. shifts starting from 08:00 a.m. to 08:00 a.m. Personnel are divided into three different shifts (Red, Blue, and Green) where volunteer and paid staff are scheduled to work or cover shifts on their scheduled days.
