2012 NEWS - Phase 1 Windbag Marina expansion
is complete. Phase 2 began in Spring 2011. Phase two
installation of the connective pathway from City Beach to Dock
Street and a portion of the 600 dock is complete. Parking
on the jetty is open. Paving Dock St. commences Spring 2012 and will complete Phase 2.

CURRENT SLIP LESSEES:
Applicants who currently lease a slip in any
calendar year will have the first opportunity to
renew the lease for that slip for the
following season. Applicants wishing to switch
slips must submit a written request by March
15th of the upcoming season. All applications to
renew must be accompanied by payment in full for
the next season and must be submitted no later
than March 15th of each calendar year to the
City of Sandpoint Parks and Recreation. Returned
checks will not be re-processed and applicant
will forfeit the slip. Slips not renewed under
these conditions by 5 p.m. on March 15th of any
calendar year shall be placed on the list of
slips to be made available to applicants on the
waiting list.

WAITING LIST FOR SLIPS:
New applicants for the City’s waiting list must
submit a signed and dated hard copy of
the waiting list application form accompanied by
a fee of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) only
between January 1st and March 15th.
Available slips appropriate for applicant’s boat shall be
offered first-come, first served based on the
date and time the application was received. All
applicants for whom slips are available will be
notified by e-mail between April 9th and April
30th. Applicants will have five business days
from the date of the e-mail to reply to
recreation@ci.sandpoint.id.us, those who do
not respond in five business days will be
dropped from the list. Once e-mail confirmation
has been received from Parks and Rec, applicant will have
five business days from the date confirmation is
sent to submit their payment in full; failure to
meet this deadline removes the applicant from
the waiting list. Returned checks will not be
re-processed and the applicant will forfeit his
place on the waiting list. If an applicant
declines an available slip they will also be
dropped from the waiting list.
Once all available slips have been filled for the season,
e-mails will be sent to the remainder of the
waiting list. Applicants who submit a $20
payment within 15 business days of that e-mail will keep their
position on the waiting list for the following season. ($20 and an
application per season) All non-respondents will
be dropped from tracking. New applications will
be accepted only between January 1st and March
15th.
If the waiting list is exhausted and slips
remain empty, the city will continue to accept
new moorage applicants, minus the $20 fee, until
all slips are full. Please call 263-3613 for an
update if past March 15th.

in the application , will be accepted only
