The City of Sandpoint offers seasonal moorage at both the City Beach Marina and the Windbag Marina.  At present all slips are full.  

CURRENT SLIP LESSEES:  Applicants who currently lease a slip in any calendar year will have the first opportunity to renew the lease for that slip for the following season.  Applicants wishing to switch slips must submit a written request by March 15^th of the upcoming season. All applications to renew must be accompanied by payment in full for the next season and must be submitted no later than March 15^th of each calendar year to the city of Sandpoint Parks and Recreation.  Returned checks will not be re-processed and applicant will forfeit the slip.  Slips not renewed under these conditions by 5 p.m. on March 15^th of any calendar year shall be placed on the list of slips to be made available to applicants on the waiting list.

WAITING LIST FOR SLIPS:  New applicants for the City’s waiting list must submit a signed and dated hard copy of this form accompanied by a fee of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) only between January 1^st and March 15^th.

Available slips appropriate for applicant’s boat shall be offered first-come, first served based on the date and time the application was received.  All applicants for whom slips are available will be notified by e-mail between April 8^th and April 30^th.  Applicants will have five business days from the date of the e-mail to reply to recreation@ci.sandpoint.id.us, those who do not respond in five business days will be dropped from the list.  Once e-mail confirmation has been received from P&R, applicant will have five business days from the date confirmation is sent to submit their payment in full; failure to meet this deadline removes the applicant from the waiting list. Returned checks will not be re-processed and the applicant will forfeit his place on the waiting list. If an applicant declines an available slip they will also be dropped from the waiting list.

Once all available slips have been filled, e-mails will be sent to the remainder of the waiting list.  Applicants who submit a $20 payment within 15 business days will keep their position on the waiting list. ($20 & an application per season) All non-respondents will be dropped from tracking.   New applications will be accepted only between January 1^st and March 15^th.
