The
Sandpoint Arts Commission was
formed in April 2004 to act in
an advisory capacity to the
Mayor and City Council, with the following
mission:
to create and maintain an
atmosphere conducive to the
fullest expression of all forms
of the arts in order to enrich
the lives of all Sandpoint
citizens and visitors.
The
commission consists of five to
nine volunteers, appointed by
the
Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. In
addition, one member of the City
Council and one City staff
member act as liaisons. Current
members include artists, art
administrators, and an
architect. The SAC meets at
least once per month.
