Lake Pend Orielle School District:  Lake Pend Oreille School District #84 encompasses the eastern two thirds of Bonner County in North Idaho.  Geographically, it is one of the largest of the 113 districts in the state with approximately 4,000 students from pre-school through twelfth grade.  There are 12 schools in the district.  Sandpoint High School is the largest of these, with a current enrollment of approximately 1,000 students in grades 9-12.  SHS is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.  SHS ranks as the 7th best high school in Idaho according to U.S. News.  Additionally, LPOSD has begun its Homeschool Academy which provides supplemental education for homeschool students in grades K-8.

Forrest M. Bird Charter Schools:  The truly educated person is one who understands relationships, both academic and personal. By providing a more personal school with smaller class sizes, students can develop relationships with peers, parents, teachers, and community members. By implementing engaging teaching methods, students will have access to their own knowledge and be enabled to integrate their thoughts thus achieving higher levels of thinking. We are committed to the belief that education is a life-long process in which the classroom is only one arena. Learning best occurs in a creative but disciplined environment, and through the involvement of parents and community members, we can develop a larger community of learners.

Idaho PTECH Network:  PTECH puts students on a career path designed to meet the real needs of Idaho industries. This can include online coursework while in high school, community college degree and certificate programs, and specialized training such as a code schools and on-site internships. The program produces qualified graduates ready to fill well-paying jobs that meet the needs of Idaho’s employers. Students are supported on a path to these careers beginning in high school and continuing after graduation at no cost.

North Idaho College (NIC) at Sandpoint:  NIC offers a variety of credit and non-credit courses in Sandpoint.

North Idaho High School Aerospace Program (NISHAP):  NISHAP's mission to cultivate a highly skilled, local aerospace workforce by providing opportunities for Bonner and Boundary County students to successfully transition to post-secondary aerospace education and job placement. Aviation and aerospace careers encompass the design, development, production and operation of all flight vehicles.

Sandpoint Waldorf School:  Waldorf education is designed to address the whole child: the head the heart and the hands. It stimulates the mind with a full spectrum of traditional academic subjects; it nurtures healthy emotional development by conveying information experientially as well as academically; and it teachers the hands to be valued members of the child’s being through a broad range of artistic and physical activities.
